Toshiba recently announced that they would be introducing a new series of high-volume, multifunction peripherals (MFPs) called the e-STUDIO 1207 Series with three models designed to bolster corporate productivity, especially enterprise companies. The e-STUDIO 1207 Series replaces the e-STUDIO 1355 Series and models 905/1105/1355.

Toshiba e-STUDIO 1207 Series Highlights

Here's what we like most about the new Toshiba copier series:

  • Includes a hard keyboard vs. the QWERTY simulated touchscreen on previous models – users ask for this specifically
  • Offers a 13,500 sheet paper capacity
  • Prints up to 120 pages per minute

Here is an excerpt of the Toshiba e-STUDIO 1207 Series announcement:

To address the needs of busy departments and light production environments, Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. today introduces its e-STUDIO 907/1057/1207 series. By blending a wide array of speed and performance options throughout, Toshiba's latest addition to the e-STUDIO line is capable of fulfilling the document output needs of virtually any organization, particularly enterprise companies.

Delivering up to 120 pages-per-minute, the e-STUDIO 1207 completes the most ambitious print and copy jobs in short order. A Duplex Single Pass Feeder (DSPF) processes single-sided originals for copying or scanning to file or email at a brisk 120 originals-per-minute (OPM) and double-sided originals at 200 OPM. All three models in Toshiba's new product line couple a 3 ½ minute warm-up speed with a first-copy-out time of four seconds or less.

"With the availability of our e-STUDIO1207 series, we're providing our customers with high performance, production-level products to keep pace with today's business climate," said Toshiba America Business Solutions Chief Marketing Executive, Bill Melo. "These new models bring the latest technology and feature set to offer our larger customers a clear advantage."
